Korean Social Television (also known as 한국 사회 TV), was a extremely short-lived South Korean television station run by the underground South Korean communists. It first went on air at around 5:30AM Seoul time on October 11, 1986, before South Korean authorities raided the station after it aired the executions of several missing government agents live. It was knocked off air and the broadcast was replaced by a KBS technical difficulties slide at 12:48PM that same day. It never returned to the air, the founder of the station, Mok Chang-Woo defected to North Korea after becoming wanted through all of South Korea and Japan.
